Coats for Columbus

Coats for Columbus (formerly, “Coats for Kids”) is one of our longest standing programs. From September 25 through October 11, 2006, The Salvation Army will collect thousands of new and gently used coats donated from all over central Ohio.

Through the generosity of our partners and sponsors as well as dozens of volunteers, coats will be collected, sorted and cleaned. The cleaned coats will then be distributed free-of-charge to individuals and families in need in Greater Columbus.

The success of our Coats program depends on many factors. These include our collection sites, our corporate and media partners, our volunteers, and the generosity of those within our community. We thank the following Coats partners and sponsors for 2006!

Special thanks to State Auto Insurance for underwriting the printing and distribution of Coats for Columbus promotional materials.
